What was your health and fitness like before starting the Fernwood online program, and what is it like now?

I started out feeling fat and horrid; I'd gained baby weight and become sluggish. Eating badly hadn't helped! Now I'm on top of the world, still losing weight, have bags of energy, and can't get enough of the gym! My mindset hasn’t been this good in a long time.

What was your ‘light bulb’ moment - the decision that drove you to do the program?

I looked in the mirror after showering one night, I didn't like what I saw and I felt awful! I realised I couldn't do it alone and that I need a plan.

Why did you choose Fernwood and the 28 Day Breakthru over other gyms or programs?

The 28 Day Breakthru came at just the right time.

What was or has been the most challenging thing?

The food prep was challenging, but I soon got used to it when the penny dropped that I had to make more effort to make it work.

What aspects of your club do you enjoy most and why?

I love my club; Fernwood St Kilda has been a mainstay for me for about 12 years or so. I've worked there for four years and just love the staff, the members and the facility. There's no better.

What has been the biggest thing you have learnt thus far?

That over eating is easy and education is a must, as far as food is concerned.

What do you think was your key to success?

My willingness to throw myself into it, trust the Angels (there were a few things I wasn't sure about but tried them and loved them) and above all, embrace it.

How has losing weight, getting fit and being healthy changed your life?

It's made me happier with myself than I've been in a long time.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining Fernwood or doing the online program you participated in?
